Valparai Municipal Health Inspector Johnson and College Principal Muralitharan flagged off the Corona Awareness Campaign of college students who set off in front of the Valparai Government Arts and Science College campus.
The campaign was attended by college students, National Student Corps, and college teachers who urged the public at bus stops, tea shops and campuses to wear face shields and to observe social space.
Also, those who did not wear a face mask were given a free face mask to wear.
The event was attended by Valparai Government College of Arts and Sciences Principal Muralitharan, Valparai Municipal Health Inspector Johnson and Welfare Officer Periyasamy, professors, teachers, students and municipal staff.
