Coimbatore: AIADMK spokesperson Selvaraj in his recent interview with a private channel said that DMDK leader Vijayakanth was missing in action. These words said to have triggered the wrath of DMDK followers who took part in a demonstration at Gandhipark, Coimbatore.

Over 50 members participated in the demonstration that happened near Gandhipark. At the demonstration, the DMDK members chanted anger filled slogans against AIADMK spokesperson Selvaraj and also hit pictures of him with footwears and later stomped on it.

Later Cotton Senthil, DMDK district secretary, Coimbatore met with the media and said that nobody from Tamilnadu has the right to talk about DMDK leader Vijayakanth and its cheap and wrong to talk about DMDK leader Vijayakanth for some 2000 rupees given by private television channels.
He also said that Selvaraj who lived because he stole Siruvani water from Coimbatore should apologise for talking about Vijayakanth by today evening.

The demonstrators who suddenly started to protest on the roads were arrested by the police and were taken away.
