BJP party members organised a tractor procession in Coimbatore today, explaining the goodness and benefits of the new agricultural reforms introduced by the Central Government.
Coimbatore: The Central Government recently implemented 3 new agricultural reforms against which the farmers are protesting in Delhi.
While many political parties and other organizations have extended their full support to the farmers who are protesting in Delhi, members of Bharthiya Janatha Party from Coimbatore initiated a tractor procession which will visit residential areas explaining the benefits of the 3 new agricultural acts.
The procession which started in Perur was inaugurated by Vanathi Srinivasan, All India head of the Women's Wing BJP.
After the inauguration function, Vanathi Srinivasan met with the media and said that the tractor procession focused mainly on explaining to people about the benefits of the newly implemented agricultural reforms.
She also slammed the opposition for playing with the livelihood of the farmers by encouraging them to protest against the law which focuses on helping them.
Vanathi Srinivasan then questioned the opposition parties like DMK and Congress on why they haven't yet announced anything helpful to the farmers in their election campaign statement.
She also said that the opposition only blames when Prime Minister Modi does something useful for the farmers which actually helps them get the right price for their produce. This was not even mentioned in our election campaign statement, the opposition uses that for their political gains and that the farmers won't believe that if the opposition party suddenly wears a green towel pretending to be farmers.
Vanathi Srinivasan also said that during the time of Covid-19 pandemic in India, the agriculture sector has been developing great economically.
When asked about the warehouses that are being built on Ambani and Adani groups, Vanathi Srinivasan said that small onions and grapes are being produced in large quantities and without proper cold storage units they can easily go bad. Inorder to stop that anyone from Ambani to Adani can build cold storage units.
During the tractor procession, small notices were dispersed to the public explaining the benefits of the 3 new agricultural reforms.
