DMK protest against the worsening condition of the Mangalam road in Tirupur
Tirupur: DMK workers led by former DMK minister Saminathan protested against the worsening condition of the Mangalam road in Tirupur.
The pits dug for laying the underground sewerage pipe from Andipalayam section to Chinnandipalayam section of the 39th ward under Tirupur Corporation have not been closed for a year and the whole area is muddy with potholes on the road.

A protest was held in Kulathuputhur area today on behalf of the DMK, pointing out that the road which is used as the main road from Tirupur to Palladam and Coimbatore via Mangalam leads to frequent accidents.
Former Highways Minister Saminathan took part in the protest and addressed the gathering. DMK workers planted seedlings on the muddy road to condemn the corporation administration. Speaking to reporters later, former minister Saminathan said that work progress was very slow and ifthe repair is not done on war footing, they would have to carry out a massive protest after getting a sanction from the party heads.
