Woman rescued from a well by fire department in Tirupur
Coimbatore: Woman who fell into a well was rescued by the fire departmnet in Tirupur. Muthulakshmi (53) is from Thillai Nagar, in Tirupur.
There is a 50 feet deep well in the residential area where they live. The well has water to a depth of 30 feet. Today, Muthulakshmi, who had taken water from the well and washed the clothes in the house, fell into the well when she tried to dry the clothes near the well.
Residents nearby heard the noise and informed the Tirupur South Fire Department.
Firefighters rushed to the scene, pulled the woman up by rope. The woman was then taken to a nearby medical center for first aid. This caused a stir in the area for some time.
