Udayakumar (47) hails from Pollachi Kakkothi Palayam, Ram Kovil Road. He was working as a manager in a petrol station in Pollachi market.
It is said that Udayakumar was late in paying the load to the petrol company. So the petrol company has stopped sending petrol to the bunk. Thus Udayakumar has been suffering from depression for the last few days.
In this situation, he was frustrated last night and committed suicide by hanging himself in a room in the petrol station.
Pollachi West police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation under Section 174 of the Act.
