Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 1,240 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,80,531 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 9,880.
Among districts, Chennai led with 344 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 111 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 73,015 today, totalling to 1,31,59,822 getting examined till date.
