Coimbatore: Driver commits suicide by hanging himself because his fiance refused to speak to him.
Kannan (24 years old) is from Pudukkottai Viralimalai area and stays in Lakshmi Nagar, Vadavalli, Coimbatore. He worked as a driver for a private company there. Kannan has been in love with a relative of his for the last few years. He told his parents about it and the families had fixed their marriage. Kannan was happily making arrangements for the wedding.
However, the girl's parents delayed the marriage claiming that Kannan did not have enough income. This led to a dispute between Kannan and the woman. The woman did not speak to Kannan after the incident which left him heartbroken and frustrated with life as he couldn't pacify her. He later committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. Vadavalli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident
