Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 1,210 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,79,291 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 9,951.
Among districts, Chennai led with 359 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 117 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 66,213 today, totalling to 1,30,86,807 getting examined till date.
