DMK city secretary working for AIADMK in Tirupur
Tirupur: DMK party members have petitioned MK Stalin to Dismiss DMK City Secretary in Dharapuram who is allegedly working against party ethos.
Dhanasekar has been the DMK city secretary for Dharapuram in Tirupur district for many years. The complaint alleges that "he went on to work with AIADMK to increase monetary benefits and comforts. He has indulged in working for AIADMK wearing clothes with DMK symbols. As the election draws near, his activities have caused great dissatisfaction among DMK executives and volunteers.
In the last Co-operative Union election, when the AIADMK went to the Dharapuram City Co-operative Society to file its nomination, he had gone wearing clothes with DMK flag and stood next to them and filed AIADMK's nomination."
The DMK cadres have written a letter to the DMK leadership, commenting that he may completely join AIADMK due to his double standards. As the DMK leadership has not yet taken action against Dhanasekar it has shocked the DMK in the Dharapuram area.
The DMK members express disbelief that Dhanasekar openly says to the DMK executives, that "There is nothing you can do against me as the leaders listen to me since I deliver what they want" DMK members say he even goes to the extent of respecting AIADMK volunteers and insulting DMK executives in the presence of the AIADMK.
The Dharapuram DMK members are waiting for action to be taken against Dhanasekar before he can attend the forthcoming city secretary election consultation meeting to be held soon under the chairmanship of DMK leader MK Stalin.
