Worker trampled to death by elephant in Cherambadi
The Nilgiris: Nagamuthu (65), a resident of Kannampalli Estate in Serampadi area in Pandalur taluk of Nilgiris district, had gone to a shop in the area on Friday night to buy betel nuts.
On his way home, he was trampled by the elephant in the market, The people nearby informed the forest department who rushed to the spot and took the body to Pandalur Government Hospital. Investigations have begun on the incident.
