CITU Engineering Association protests to repeal anti-people laws.inCoimbatore
Coimbatore: A protest was held in Coimbatore on behalf of the CITU Engineering Association, demanding the immediate repeal of anti-agricultural laws by the central government.
The protest was held condemning the anti-people laws and anti-labour by the central BJP government and their actions hurt all sections of the public with rising petrol and diesel prices and privatizing the Ooty Mountain Railway.

AG Subramanian, District Treasurer of the Engineering Association, led a protest near the Thudiyalur bus stand in Coimbatore. The Coimbatore Member of Parliament PR Natarajan participated and addressed the protest. Leaders, including former legislator UK Vellingiri, engineering union secretary C Duraisamy and CPM district committee member R Kesavamani, condemned the Modi government for acting against the working class.

Earlier, a large number of workers took part in the protest, chanting slogans condemning the central government's anti-people laws.
