This news is strongly being opposed by doctors across the country. The doctors participated in various protests to show their disagreement in the government's new law.
With the central government being unresponsive to the protests by doctors, the Indian Medical Council had agreed to go on a nationwide protest today.
As a part of the protest, 150 private hospitals were closed todayin Tirupur with over 650 doctors participating in the strike.
Although the doctors are on a no work protest today, the doctors said that they are still continuing treatment for emergency surgeries, child birth and Covid-19 infected patients.
