Coimbatore: Bharath Shastri Bokara (37) from Odisha was working as the head constable at the Thoppampatti Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Bharath Shastri Bokara, who had earlier taken a leave for about 15 days to visit his native in Odisha. He then returned back to Coimbatore by train and while the train reached the North Coimbatore railway station Bharath Shastri Bokara tried getting down with his luggage before the train came to a stop.
Bharath Shastri Bokara who was caught falling between the platform and the railway station screamed for help. Passengers and people at the railway station tried getting Bharath Shastri Bokara who was heavily injured to the Coimbatore Government Hospital where he passed away yesterday eveningafter his body failed to respond to the treatment done at the hospital.
Sub Inspector of Police Murugan and other police officials filed a case about this tragic incident and are now investigating further regarding the case.
