'TICEL-BIO Park 3' gives hope to Coimbatore people
Coimbatore: 'TICEL-BIO PARK 3' established at Coimbatore has given a big hope to people in Coimbatore since the construction works are almost over.
Sources say, it is decided to provide few spaces for IT (Information and Technology) firms too.
TICEL Bio Park Ltd, a Joint venture of TIDCO and TIDEL Park Ltd, has established TICEL Bio Park-III at Coimbatore comprising of 14 floors including Ground floor with built up space of 2.29 lakh sq. ft. along with other infrastructure facilities in 10 acres of land in Anna University Campus, Somayampalayam Village, Coimbatore District.
TICEL Bio Park Limited provides laboratory infrastructure services. The Company offers labs for research and development, fermentation and microbiology, downstream processing, molecular biology, plant tissue culture, and animal tissue analysis. TICEL Bio Park serves customers globally. The construction works are almost over and soon offices would start functioning inside this campus. The new infrastructure at Coimbatore has given a big hope and it is expected that some space would also be given to IT firms inside the Bio park.
Sources said, "The Bio park is a project carried out by 'TIDCO', 'Chennai Tidel Park'. It is true that the construction works are almost finished and ready to be given for rent. Since this is a big infrastructure, initially the whole building may not be filled by Bio Park companies. Hence the management has decided to allot some space to IT companies also. But as far as the renting procedures are concerned the management is very strong in giving first preferences to BIO PARK companies."
