DMK members themselves say that MK Stalin cannot become a CM: Minister SP Velumani
Coimbatore: Minister SP Velumani said DMK members themselves say that MK Stalin cannot become a CM.
The inaugural meeting of the new executives of the AIADMK north district was held in the presence of Minister SP Velumani at the AIADMK headquarters in the Coimbatore district.Minister SP Velumani said, Women's wing secretary Kanimozhi has been campaigning for the past few days and she was paying 200 rupees for the meeting she was attending for people to attend.
Speaking during the campaign, Kanimozhi had said that the construction work in Coimbatore was progressing slowly. Minister SP Velumani in reply said Kanimozhi has been talking without even knowing that the construction work is time consuming and said that innumerable projects are being implemented in Coimbatore like no other district.
He also added, "Bridge construction work is progressing rapidly to reduce traffic congestion on all major roads in Coimbatore. Initial phase of work for the Metro Rail project is underway. Stalin is making mistakes even while reading out what was given to him. DMK did nothing for the people when it was in power. Speaking in Tirupur, Stalin went on to falsely say that Karunanidhi had allocated funds for the 1971 Athikadavu Avinashi project. Even DMK members say that Stalin could never become the chief minister."
He said, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy is taking immediate steps to address the grievances of the people by going directly to the storm affected districts. He said, "AIADMK volunteers can easily collect votes from the public as the government was giving various development projects to the people. AIADMK will win the upcoming assembly elections and Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy will be re-elected as the Chief Minister."
He also asked party executives and volunteers to work for the victory of the assembly elections.
