Police arrest two highway intruders on Palakkad road; car damaged.
Coimbatore: Based on the complaint filed by a highway traveller, the Madukkarai police investigated and arrested two men for intruding a car on Palakkad highways and issuing threats to the passengers of the car.
Biswas (40)an electrical goods seller from Palakkad, Kerala along with his family visited Coimbatore for personal work, on Wednesday. While he was returning back to Kerala, three men in a speeding bike intercepted his car near Madukarai Quarry Office.
Later, the men in the bike purposefullyentered into an tussle with Biswas and threatened him. They also allegedlymen broke the front glass of the car and threatenedthe passengers in the car and fled away.
Shocked by the incident, Biswas filed a complaint at the Madukarai police station who arrived to the spot and investigated. The police then arrested
Sasikumar (21) and Prabhu (26) from Kurumbampalayam area here and are on the lookout for Praveen (21) who fled from the scene.
The two men were produced in front of the Magistrate and remanded in Coimbatore central.prison.
