Valparai legislator Kasturi Vasu presents ten girls ₹25000 under Girl Child Protection Scheme
Coimbatore: Valparai legislator Kasturi Vasu presented ten girls under the Girl Child Protection Scheme. Social Welfare Department in Valparai, Coimbatore District, a provident fund of Rs. 25,000 per child was provided to 10 children as an aid for families with two girl children.

Valparai legislator Kasturi Vasu attended the event and gave the fund to the five mothers.
Valparai legislator Kasturi Vasu said the assistance was being provided to mothers of two girls under the Girl Child Protection Scheme and said all the projects announced by the AMMA are being implemented in the region. Speaking on the occasion, Tahsildhar Raja said that to be eligible for the scheme, a family with two daughters with an annual income of Rs 72,000 and must have undergone family planning surgery are eligible.
He said action would be taken to make the funds available to them immediately to those eligible.
