Coimbatore: Makkal Neethi Maiam protests in Coimbatore for Farmers' Bharat Bandh. Tens of thousands of farmers have been protesting in the capital, Delhi, for the past 13 days, condemning three anti-agriculture laws introduced by the central government and demanding their repeal.nBharat Bandh was held across the country today in support of them. Opposition parties and many industrialists have expressed support for the move. Accordingly, the Coimbatore District Makkal Neethi Maiam staged a protest in front of the South Taluk Office.
In it, he raised slogans condemning the central government and urged the central government to immediately repeal these laws. Further, the Makkal Neethi Maiam said that if the Central Government does not withdraw these laws, they will all come together and go to Delhi. The protest was attended by state general body member Thangavel, state regional organizer Ranganathan, state secretary agriculture team, Dr Myilsamy, deputy secretary of news and media Pankaj Surabi and women's wing city secretaries, ward secretaries, circle secretaries and many others.
