50 sovereign jewelry and Rs 2 lakh robbed from businessman's house in Coimbatore


Coimbatore: 50 sovereign jewelry and Rs 2 lakh robbed from businessman's house in Coimbatore. Satish Kumar is from Pushpam Garden, Nehru Nagar, Peelamedu, in Coimbatore. He is married and owns and operates a software company in the area. Everyday he locks the house and goes to work with his wife and comes home in the evening. Satish Kumar went to the company with his wife yesterday and when the two came home in the evening after work they were shocked that the lock of the house was broken and the door was left open. Satish Kumar was shocked to see this and went inside. He saw that the wardrobe was open and all the clothes in it were scattered.

50 sovereign gold jewelry including the diamond necklace, chain, ring and bangle in it and the cash of Rs 2 lakh were missing. It was revealed that the unidentified men broke into the house while the two were on their way to work. Satish Kumar lodged a complaint with the Peelamedu police. Upon receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and conducted an investigation. Fingerprint experts arrived at the scene and recorded the fingerprints at the house to see if there were any suspicious individuals on the surveillance camera. Police have filed a case and are searching for the accused. Robbery by breaking the lock of a house and looting jewelry and cash in broad daylight has caused a stir in the area.
