Coimbatore: Special poojas are to be performed inside Codissia Trade Fair Complex after the halls are given back to the association by the district administration.
At present three halls inside the Codissia trade fair complex namely Hall B,D and E are given to the district administration for establishing COVID-19 care centre temporarily. Since the infection rates are literally reducing each day the association is awaiting the decision from the district administration in giving back the halls back to them.
At present totally 865 people are under treatment across the district. On the other side the state government is announcing more relaxations under the ongoing lockdown. Hence it is expected that soon relaxation would be given to conduct Expos.
As a preparatory method, the Codissia Association is planning to conduct special poojas after they get back the halls which are converted as Covid care centre at present.
Sources from Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (CODISSIA) said, "We are in discussions within our association in getting back the halls which we have given for establishing temporary Covid care centre. We are awaiting the decision from the district administration. When they remove the Covid care centre at Codissia they would clean the entire premises with disinfectants and after ensuring the safety they would give back the halls to the association.
After that we would conduct special poojas inside the premises which would help to increase the confidence level among the public. As per the present situation we have postponed all our expos till March 2021. Depending upon the situation witnessed in the upcoming day's there maybe changes in our decision."
