Public submit petition to take action against lady officer in ration shop for misconduct
Tirupur: The public has filed a petition with the District Collector's Office seeking registration of a case on behalf of the Food Safety Department against the seller who was suspended for misconduct at a ration shop in Tirupur.
Rajeswari, who was working as a sales officer at a ration shop in the Palanisamy Nagar area in Boyambalayam, Tirupur district, was transferred to the ration shop on Angeripalayam Road after the local public accused her of being involved in the scam.
No case has yet been registered on behalf of the Department of Food Safety after her actionswere confirmed. Public and social activists in the area today filed a petition at the District Collector's Office demanding that the 1350 ration cards in the Boyambalayam Palanisamy Nagar ration shop be divided into two and they demanded to immediately file a case and action be taken against the officer
