Forest Officials From Kerala -Tamilnadu Participate In Joint patrolling In Valparai!

Both the state officials patrolled looking over wild animals safety, forest safety, forest management, strangers entering the forest, illegal activities and hunting.


Coimbatore: The Anamalai Tiger Reserve is surrounded by both the states of Tamilnadu and Kerala on either sides. The director of the Anamalai Tiger Reserve has ordered the forest officials to join with the Kerala Forest Department officials on a patrol at the border of the Tiger Reserve.

Forest Officials Naveen Kumar and Manigandan from the Pollachi Forest Zone lead the patrol between the two states on behalf of the Tamilnadu forest department.

On behalf of the state of Kerala, Parambikulam forest officer Kannan and Orukomban forest officer Babu lead the patrol.



The patrol went rounds in places like Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, Anamalai Tiger Reserve, Parambikulam water reservoir, Mandhrimattam, Seetukal Hill, Thavitukozhi Hill, Fish rock, 10ft bridge, Kozhikamuthi, Varkaliaru and Elachi Rock.
