The Indian farmers are protesting against the central government's new agricultural reform bill which comes as an endangerment to the farmers community.
Tiruppur Exporters and Manufacturers Association (TEAMA), along with Vergal have now extended their support to tomorrow's Bharat bandh in support of farmers. MR Muthu Rathinam, President of TEAMA stated that the textile industry is based on Agriculture.
He also said that cotton the raw material for all the textile products depends on farmers and agriculture and that TEAMA is in full support to the farmers who are protesting for everyone's livelihood.
