Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agriculture University has designed a new technology which creates a digital soil map using AI (artificial intelligence).
With the help of this new technology scientists can now help farmers accurately measure the land and classify them based on the property which will increase the yeild of the crops.
The Tamil Nadu Agriculture University has been trying to discover agriculture based technology which will increase crop yield and production. As a part of this research, the new soil mapping technology has been developed by the TNAU.
By identifying the soil type, farmers can understand the carbon structure in a soil and the soil map is prepared by using the soil filter method. The TNAU has also revealed that a new app for soil mapping will be launched soon. The TNAU officials believe that this new technology can help farmers increase the current yield being his best friend.
