Pollachi: A special grievance redressal camp was held in Kanchampatti and Nattukalpalayam panchayats near Pollachi yesterday. Minister of Animal Husbandry Udumalai Radhakrishnan attended the camp and provided welfare assistance to the public, including housing.
Coimbatore: Demonstrations on behalf of the SDPI took place in Coimbatore demanding the implementation of the Shrines Act 1991 and to return the Babri Masjid land to the Muslims.
A nationwide protest on behalf of the SDPI party is taking place today, December 6, the day the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was demolished.
As part of this, a protest was held in the Athupalam area on behalf of the SDPI in Coimbatore district.
SDPI National Vice President KKSM was present at the protest led by SDPI Coimbatore District President Raja Hussain. Tehlan Bhagwati, Thanthai Periyar Dravida Kazhagam General Secretary Ku. Ramakrishnan, Naam Tamilar Katchi Chattai Thuraimurugan and Kovai Seyyathu spoke at the gathering.
The protesters demanded that the central government and judiciary, enforce the Places of Worship Act 1991, return the Babri Masjid land to Muslims and punish the perpetrators.
In this demonstration KKSM, Tehlan Bhagwati during his Babri Masjid demolition protest speech said, "Mass demonstrations are taking place across the country on Babri Masjid Day on December 6 with the aim of making people aware of the great injustice done to Muslims and to tell the history of the Babri Mosque to future generations and to continue to fight for justice until the Babri Masjid is rebuilt on the same site no matter how many years. We will fight resolutely to recover what was lost and to preserve what we have, ”he said.
The demonstration was attended by SDPI party district executives, union executives, trade union executives, block and branch executives, women and children.
