DMK protests in Pollachi in support of farmers' protests in Delhi
Coimbatore: DMK protests in Pollachi in support of farmers' protests in Delhi. Farmers and various parties across the country have been protesting for the withdrawal of the recently amended agricultural law bill by the central government.
As the support for the farmers' struggle in Delhi continues to grow in various parts of Tamil Nadu. As a part of this protest, on behalf of the Coimbatore South District DMK a protest was held today at the Pollachi Thiruvalluvar Stadium in support of the protest and demanding the withdrawal of the new agricultural law of the Central Government.
DMK's Coimbatore South District Secretary Thendral Selvaraj, led the protest and it was attended by more than 500 DMK workers, including DMK state agriculture team deputy leader Tamilmani, city councilor Varadaraj, North Union secretary Maruthavel and Anaimalai union east secretary Yuvaraj.

During the protest, slogans were raised condemning the central government, calling for the repeal of the Agriculture Amendment Act and attacking farmers. The DMK also demanded that the central government should provide relief to the districts affected by the cyclone.
