Coimbatore: Due to the unpredictable price hike of raw materials we are forced to increase the wet grinders price by 20% says, COWMA.
Coimbatore Wet Grinder and Accessories Manufacturers Association(COWMA) in a press release has said, "The prices of raw materials like ABS plastic raw materials, stone, casting, M.S.Angles, M.S.Pipes, S.S.Rod, S.S.Sheets and many more items for manufacturing wet grinders and the materials used for motors like castings. stampings, copper wire prices keeps on increasing each day.
Particularly the prices of ABS plastic materials and copper wire insulation materials are increasing tremendously by 25% to 200%."
"Due to this unpredictable price hike of raw materials, the manufacturers of wet grinders are forced to increase the price of wet grinders and motors. All these above said factors have been seriously discussed and debated in our special office bearers meeting of our association. During that meeting we have decided to implement immediate price hike of 20% over the prevailing prices of wet grinders and motors. We request all the distributors, dealers and customers to extened their cooperation in this regard to the suppliers."
