The Nilgiris: DMK Deputy General Secretary A. Raja protested in Ooty saying that people of Tamil Nadu who prevented Modi from entering Tamil Nadu should oust Edappadi Palanisamy who is working in support of Modi in the coming assembly elections.

On behalf of the Nilgiris District DMK, a protest was held at the Ooty ATC Stadium, led by DMK Deputy General Secretary A. Raja, condemning the AIADMK government to demand the immediate withdrawal of 3 agricultural laws introduced by the Central Government to affect farmers.

Deputy General Secretary A. Raja said the products produced by the farmers were procured by the government from the farmers and marketed at reasonable prices. He said farmers would be affected due to corporate bodies like Ambani in the future as the amendment would not allow the farmers to ask for losses to government due to the 3 Agriculture Amendment Act currently being introduced by Prime Minister Modi.

He said like how the people of Tamil Nadu who prevented Modi from entering Tamil Nadu in the recent parliamentary elections, the people of Tamil Nadu would overthrow the AIADMK government led by Edappadi Palanisamy in the forthcoming assembly elections which was working against the farmers and the people
