MP PR Natarajan writes a letter enquiring about the government's plan of action to implement COVID-19 vaccine

Coimbatore: MP PR Natarajan writes a letter enquiring about the government's plan of action to implement COVID-19 vaccine.

In a press release he said even a single vote in a democracy will determine the success or failure and he said it was not appropriate for Indian Prime Minister Modi today to deny permission to parties with less than ten MPs to speak at their Coronavirus Prevention Measures event.

He said, "I would like to point out to the Central Government that this not only silences the voice of the winning people's representatives, but also tends to disrespect the voice of the people who voted. At the same time, despite being denied the opportunity to speak, I have conveyed my questions and doubts about Prime Minister Modi's Coronavirus Prevention Measures through the Parliamentary Affairs Department.

He also added that, "In this I would like to know the number of staff involved in coronavirus prevention activities as pioneers in government hospitals and what structural arrangements have to be made to deal with such pandemics in the future. As the coronavirus vaccine is to be available within any period, is it true that the Central Secretary of Health has said that the coronavirus vaccine will not be given to everyone. What arrangements have been made by the Central Government to provide vaccines to all the people in the nation."

He further added that he has written to the Parliamentary Affairs Department asking if there are any plans to provide relief funds on a monthly basis until the economy recovers to the people affected by the coronavirus.
