He arrived in Coimbatore by air from Chennai and was given an enthusiastic welcome by the party.
There was a stir as the crowds rushed in enthusiasm to see him and click pictures. All the norms due to coronavirus infection was forgone as they overtook each other without social distancing.
MK Stalin waved his hands to the party members and left for Salem by road.
