His wife Saratha and him have a daughter Dharani, Kavya, son, Jagadish. (Names have been changed). Grandson of Rafiq Ahmed and Sabitha Beevi who live next door to them were playing together near the house last evening.
Yesterday, the parents were tense as the children went missing after 7 pm. Parents searched the neighbourhood and hundreds of people gathered and there was a stir in the area. The parents later lodged a complaint at the Pollachi Mahalingapuram police station. Following this, the police rushed there and examined the CCTV camera recordings in the area and were actively searching for the children and investigated if anyone had abducted the children.
Ukkadam police rescued 4 children who were standing near the Coimbatore Ukkadam bus stand at around 11.30 pm and informed their parents. Following this, the parents went there and took the children home. Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that the four children had left Chennai without their parents knowing to see actor Vijay. The incident where four children from Pollachi tried to go to Chennai to see the actor at midnight has caused a stir in Pollachi.
