On behalf of the Department of Welfare of theDisabled she presented certificates of appreciation to 10 persons for their outstanding work as physicians and staff during the Coronavirus out and to 15 beneficiaries for various government welfare assistance worth Rs. 1,27,681 and for 15 other people who completed tailoring course by Kinder Trust were given certificates of appreciation.

She later said the Nilgiris district was not on the path of the storm and all precautionary measures against the storm were in place. She also asked the public not to come outside for two days if there was heavy rain and strong winds. The event was attended by many including Sub-Collector Ranjit Singh, District Disability Welfare Officer Malarvizhi.
