The swearing in ceremony held a private hall situated at the Manglam - Palladam highway was presided over by Palladam MLA - Karaiputhur Natrajan, Ex- Minister M.S.M Anandan, Ex- Secretary of Palladam Union Paramasivam Kangeyam, MLA Thaniyarasu and Dharapuram MLA VS Kalimuthu.

Addressing the party cadres, Minister Udumalai K Radhakrishnan, "Anyone can enter politics and launch a party. And, we, AIADMK party members should not panic or get irked about that. Our goal to strive for the welfare of the people should not be distracted by such petty things. Our rivalries will watch us grow."
He added that Palladam constituency has been a fortress for AIADMK with around 4 lakh voters and with many new voters enrolled, this year. It is crucial to gain the support and trust of the new voters, too. He also said that around 25 to 45 members will be required to work in every booth committee during the upcoming assembly election.

The Animal Husbandry Minister requested the party cadres to commemorate the death anniversary of late Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha on December 5 by worshiping her portrait and seek blessings.
"Am all ears to the party members. They can anytime approach me to discuss on any problems or propose suggestions for the betterment of their constituency's electoral work. I will be meeting all members and leaders of the AIADMK party belonging to Udumalaipet, Palladam and will be discussing about the election work", he concluded.
