Farmers in Delhi are protesting against the repeal of the Agricultural Amendment Act. Various organizations across the country have been involved in the struggle in support of this.
As part of this, the Student Federation of India staged a road blockade in the Ukkadam, Coimbatore. There was a clash between the police and protestors as they tried to drag them away.
They accused the central government of harassing farmers in Delhi and the state government of harassing pro-farmers activists with the police. Police arrested 13 protesters and took them away by truck. Traffic was affected for some time due to this protest.
