Sanitary workers filed a petition demanding patta for the land they were staying in Tirupur


Tirupur: Sanitary workers filed a petition at the Tirupur District Collectorate demanding patta for the land they were staying.

The Adidravidar Colony residential area in Tirupur Palladam Road was provided as accommodation for 44 sanitary workers 73 years ago who were working in the Corporation, Municipality and Municipalities under Tirupur District.

They are currently living by setting up houses there. They could not continue their work in the area as they had not been given patta for the land yet. The sanitary workers todayfiled a petition at the Tirupur District Collector's Office demanding that the patta for the land be immediately provided to them.
