They surrendered to Coimbatore Saibaba Colony police today. According to the police, the accused in the Ramanathapuram district murder case surrendered to the Saibaba Colony police at the Mettupalayam Road check post. Muruganathan, Shanmugavel, Dharmar and Velusamy were playing cards on 21st near Anthony church Rameswaram port police station in Ramanathapuram district.
Velusamy showed someone who had passed by and told him that he was his and asked them to kill him. They then surrendered claiming that they had killed Manoj without even knowing him. Muruganathan (age 39), father's name is Kottaisamy Appanur, Ariyanathapuram, Ramanathapuram district, Shanmugavel (age 42), father's name is Jagannathan, Mela housing unit, Maranthai, Kadaladi, Ramanathapuram. 3) Dharmar (age 48) father name Ramu Sirukudi, Maranthai, Kadaladi Ramanathapuram are now in the station. Police led by Assistant Inspector Muthu Muniyasamy have arrived in Coimbatore from Ramanathapuram to take the culprits.
