Coimbatore: Motorcycle and jewelry robbed at a farmer's house in Coimbatore. Kumaraswamy (65) is a farmer and resides in the Solakattu area next to Karumathampatti in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Motorcycle and jewelry robbed at a farmer's house in Coimbatore. Kumaraswamy (65) is a farmer and resides in the Solakattu area next to Karumathampatti in Coimbatore. He lives in his farm with his wife Bakiyam (58) and son Shenbaga Vadivel. Kumaraswamy went to his sister’s house with the family yesterday.
Upon returning home in the evening he was shocked to see that the front door of the house was broken. Upon entering, he found that the wardrobe was broken into and the unidentified individuals had stolen 5 sovereigns of gold jewelry which was hidden among the clothes. They also stole the motorcycle parked in front of the house. Kumaraswamy informed the Karumathampatti police about this. Police and fingerprint experts rushed to the scene and recorded the fingerprints in the house.
Police have registered a case and are searching for the robbers. Two days ago the robbers from Andhra Pradesh were arrested in the Karumathampatti area. Another theft in the area has created fear among the people of the area.
