Police confiscate 700 kg of banned narcotics In Tirupur
Tiruppur: Police todayarrested two persons and confiscated 700 kg of government-banned narcotics brought in a car. During a routine search of vehicles on the MGR Road in Tiruppur, police intercepted a car and found drugs in the car.
Subsequently, the police took the two to the police station and during the investigation, it was revealed that they were Balasingh and Manikandan from Kunnathur area. It was also revealed that Balasingh had been selling drugs at shops in and around Tirupur.
Following this, Tirupur North police arrested Manikandan and Balasingh and confiscated 700 kg of banned narcotics and a used car used in the transport of the drugs.
