Accordingly, 22,991 people had applied in Coimbatore district on the 21st and 43,795 on the 22nd and more people had filed petitions in the camps on the 22nd than on the 21st.

Of these, 51,303 have submitted Form 6 to add their names to the voter list. Out of 10 constituencies in Coimbatore district, Sulur constituency has the highest number of 9,358 applicants.
