When asked about this incident the police said, "Charan (23) is from Selvam Senguttai area, Aroor taluka, Ichchampatti post, Dharmapuri district. Charan has been staying with his parents in the Ganapathy Sanganur Lay-out area of Coimbatore for the past three years and working as a salesman in a cellphone shop in the Ganapathy area.
This afternoon, he was coming on a motorcycle from Gandhipuram to Ganapathy for lunch. At that moment, the bike collided with the wall on the side of the Textool bridge."
During the accident, he sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot. The Coimbatore Traffic Investigation Police (Central) filed a case and seized the body and sent it to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for autopsy. Police are investigating the crash.
