Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs Muralitharan and BJP state president Murugan were present and laid the foundation stone for the building.

Following this, BJP state president Murugan and minister Muralitharan held a joint press conference. BJP state president Murugan said the BJP has decided to build its own office building in every district in Tamil Nadu. Based on this, construction work has started in places including Vaniyambadi and Tirupur. He said the buildings are scheduled to open before the Pongal festival. The building, which is currently being built in Coimbatore, will be completed in six months and will be inaugurated by BJP national leader JP Natta. He said he was arrested and released yesterdayjust as always at the Vel Yatra. He also said the Vel Yatra begins in Palani and will end in Thiruchendur on the 5th.

Minister Muralitharan said the Agricultural Act is not against farmers and it allows farmers to set prices for their produce and sell it to anyone, anywhere. He said the Congress party is opposing the law for political gain. He added that the cyber law enacted in Kerala is a cruel law against freedom of expression and said that the Kerala gold smuggling case is being investigated without any intervention of the Central Government.
