Tirupur District Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamaat District Activists Meeting was held at Gombaithottam area.
Among them were resolutions passed to increase the 3.5 per cent internal quota for education and employment for Muslims in Tamil Nadu to 7 per cent and to withdraw the Citizenship Amendment Bill.
Further, the resolution passed said that political parties should give representation to Muslims in their party and give Islamists a chance to contest more seats in the coming assembly elections.
