In this pandemic season, Thanujasree has not been doing housework and her parents reprimanded her. Sharmila is said to have been alone as her parents went to work as usual yesterday morning.
When the parents returned home in the evening, they were terrified of not seeing their daughter. They came back home as they could not find in the neighborhood. The parents found a letter in the house.
In the letter it was mentioned that she was leaving home with a 20-year-old woman who lives next door because parents had often scolded her. Also, it was written that Shyam (14), an 8th class student, who lives next door to them, also came with them.
Subsequently, the parents lodged a complaint with the Kuniamuthur police station on suspicion that their daughter and the boy next door may have been abducted by the woman who lived next door. Kuniamuthur police have registered a case and are investigating.
An investigation into the 20-year-old woman's cell phone number revealed that they were near Ooty. Following this, the Coimbatore police rushed to Ooty. The incident has caused a great stir in the area.
