Tirupur: Public protest against opening of new Tasmac in Amman Nagar, Pooluvapatti in Tirupur. There are already two Tasmac stores operating in Amman Nagar next to Pooluvapatti in Tirupur district and now a new Tasmac store has been opened in the same area.
Tirupur: Public protest against opening of new Tasmac in Amman Nagar, Pooluvapatti in Tirupur. There are already two Tasmac stores operating in Amman Nagar next to Pooluvapatti in Tirupur district and now a new Tasmac store has been opened in the same area. This infuriated the locals who entered into a protest today. Tasmac officials who arrived at the scene held talks with the public. They then asked the public to submit the relevant petition to Tasmac Regional Manager and only after that they dispersed.
The locals in the area said, “there are more than 250 families living in Amman Nagar and in surrounding areas including Kamaraj Nagar. When there are already two Tasmac stores here they have now newly opened a Tasmac store last night. The newly opened store may further intensify the problems in the area where women and children are suffering due to the already existing Tasmac stores. So we demand the district administration to immediately remove the new Tasmac store.”
