Corporation Commissioner inspects development works in South zone
Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner inspects development works in South zone . He inspected the cleaning works done at the Ponnaiarajapuram, Ramakrishnapuram, Sokkamputhur road and Krishna Nagar near petrol bunk.

He inspected the public handing over the compostable and non-compostable waste to the sanitary workers in Brindavan layout, Ponnaiarajapuram. He also inquired about sanitary workers and frequency of drinking water supply in the area.

Following that he visited the newly built community center in Chokkamputhur worth Rs. 1 crore 49 lakhs and the checked the dimensions to see if it is correct. Later, the commissioner asked them to complete the work on time.

He then inspected the survey work to assess the people under the poverty line in Chokkamputhur Ward No.77 Corporation Primary School.

He inspected the works in the new bus stand in Vellalore built at the cost of 168 crores and ordered to complete the works on time.

He also instructed the officers to spray regularly to ward off odour at the dumpyard in Vellalore and instructed that the garbage should be segregated in specific area while sanitary workers collect the garbage from the public.
During the inspection the project engineer, Gnanavelu, assistant Engineers Sundarajan, Ravikannan, Zonal Health Officer Loganathan, Health Inspectors, Supervisors and corporation employees were present
