Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 2,520 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,30,272 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 16,441.
Among districts, Chennai led with 502 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 171 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 65,053 today, totalling to 1,10,72,885 getting examined till date.
