Due to the intensive coronavirus prevention measures of the Coimbatore Corporation and cooperation from the public, the impact of the infections has currently decreased. To keep this deadly disease under control and monitor its impact during the festive season, special arrangements have been made to test and treat on Diwali and on Sunday. People with fever, cough, runny nose and other symptoms can approach the corporation PHCs for tests and treatment.
Corporation Commissioner said people experiencing the above-mentioned symptoms of COVID can immediately go to the nearest Corporation PHC and get tested. Further, the health inspector or the zonal health officer can be contacted to undergo tests at the nearest testing centers.
