Recoveries continued to eclipse new cases with 2,572 patients getting cured aggregating to 7,25,258 till date, the State health department bulletin said.
Active cases stood at 17,748.
Among districts, Chennai led with 512 new cases today followed by Coimbatore with 179 cases.
Testing of samples stood at 73,486 today, totalling to 1,09,37,407 getting examined till date.
