Atleast 300 DMK cadres flocked the Coimbatore international airport to receive their party"s youth wing secretary who had arrived here to take part in multiple meetings to appoint new office bearers of District Youth wing of five districts including Coimbatore.
The youth wing secretary left to Namakkal through road and will be taking part in the appointment of new office bearers of Coimbatore district youth wing, on November 13.
Meanwhile, traffic congestion was reported in the airport premises after several cars by party cadres and general public were allegedly parked in an unruly manner, causing inconvenience to the public. The Peelamedu police have reportedly booked cases on them for parking violation and public nuisance.
